Environmental Overhaul with Biosphere Machine

The Philippines is a wonderful place with beautiful scenery, fascinating landscapes, splendid beaches, tropical forests and with abundant resources.  But as its population increases and the advancement in technologies heightens year by year, the Philippine’s attractive scenery and rich resources are depleted. Adding to this is the growing waste problem in the country which until now is one of the main problems in the country.

Good to know that this 2011, a biosphere facility will soon operate in the Philippines, specifically located at City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The facility will be using the biosphere machine that uses biosphere technology which is a gasification process that lessens or eliminates waste in a cost effective manner turning it to electricity without harming the environment. The facility site will have people working round the clock sorting wastes and then feeding it to the biosphere machine.

The biosphere machine will then turn the wastes to energy through the method called biosphere process or gasification process. The biosphere machine is the answer to the waste problem in the Philippines.  It will not only help in the country’s waste management but also help in restoring the beauty of the Philippines.
Other biosphere facilities will soon rise in other parts of the country and other countries as well, giving us the chance to live in a waste free environment once again with a benefit having sustainable energy sources.

The overall betterment of mother earth will happen little by little, not just in a blink of an eye, every little progress counts.

Cultivating the Philippines with Biosphere Technology

The Philippines is known for its beauty and for having diverse resources, unique plants and animals, stunning sceneries and abundant land areas. These are the country’s treasures. But these treasures are in danger and these are being progressively more compromised as the population in the Philippines increases. Waste management and population growth are the two main problems in the Philippines.

Over the years, the Philippine Government has tried to reverse environmental degradation by introducing innovative institutional and legal reforms. In addition, in recent years, many donors have supported efforts to improve the overall environmental governance in the country by building the competence of the Environmental groups like DENR, local governments, local communities and NGOs and by supporting innovative partnerships among them. Despite of all these efforts, aptitude in environmental and natural resources authority still requires significant improvement, particularly in LGUs or local government units.

However, despite the government’s good intentions, rapid population growth, urbanization and industrialization have far outstripped urban environment services and weak natural resource management systems have led to rapid degradation of those environments too.

The Philippines seems to be on the brink of total decay, as a rising and industrializing country, it is experiencing all the opportunities intertwined with environmental problems. Its ecosystems are underneath diverse stages of stresses that threaten the welfare of the population.

Conversely, there is what we call green technology that can help us prevent the problems being faced by our country. Green technology is centered on sustainable development. One example of green technology is Biosphere Technology that uses gasification process which harnesses the combustibility of solid wastes to create a heat source that produces an extremely hot steam that will then generate green energy like electricity.

Biosphere technology will be deployed country-wide ensuring that all Filipinos will benefit from this technology. Society, well being and the environment here in the Philippines are intricately interrelated and complex. Joint efforts that address the density of these interrelations can improve our health, economy and future.

Biosphere Technology, a Green Technology towards a Green Planet

We are not exonerated in the fact that we are the ones who actually made the world as it is now. Waste management problem, pollution, depletion of natural resources, global warming, these are just few of the problems we are facing because of industrialization, rapid human population growth and advancements in technology.

And as these problems arise, it seems that some people are not showing any concern on the effects and the impact these problems will have to our environment and to us humans. If people will continue to neglect these problems, the earth that we live in may become extinct and we vanish with it too.

Good thing that other people are aware of what is happening to the world we live in and are taking steps to find ways on how to save planet earth from destruction. Campaigns about green technology emerge to educate, urge and spread awareness to people to go green.

The materialization of green technology (also known as clean technology) is bringing a promise of a healthier planet in addition to the growing businesses that can sustain its health and provide sustainable energy sources. We can no longer take for granted that pollution, the deteriorating natural resources and global warming can be set aside for the incoming generations.

Biosphere technology is a green technology innovation that converts wastes to energy. Biosphere technology can be the answer to the waste problem and depletion of earth’s natural resources we are facing today. It can play a big role in building a green future, society by society.
